Southern style hash browns – defrosted
¾ cup butter/melted, divided
Salt and pepper – ½ t to 1t of each. Can’t remember which
2 cups shredded cheese, I use cheddar
1 pint sour cream
1 pkg of fr. Onion soup mix
1 can cream of mushroom or chicken soup
Corn flakes / crushed – I just use enough to cover top
Mix potatoes, ½ cup butter, salt, pepper, onion mix, soup, sour cream, butter and cheese.
Place in 9x13 dish
Crush the corn chips and spread across the top
Drizzle remaining 14/ cup of butter across the top
Bake at 350 for 45 mins to an hour.
I don’t think I left anything out.
